FAQs
Cake Orders
Do you offer fully custom designs?
Yes! I love bringing your ideas to life while staying true to my signature style. My designs lean modern and artful, so I focus on creating cakes that align with that aesthetic. Inspiration photos are always welcome and encouraged—I use them as a guide, but every cake is uniquely created and not an exact replica.
Why does pricing vary for custom cakes?
Pricing is based on size, flavor selections, and design detail. More intricate designs, specialty finishes, and custom elements will increase the overall cost.
What flavors do you offer?
I offer a variety of cake and filling combinations, which can be found on our Custom Cake Order page. Not sure what to choose? I’m always happy to recommend flavor pairings based on your preferences and event style!
What desserts do you offer?
Custom Cakes, Cupcakes, Cake Shooters and Signature cakes.
Ordering & Availability
How far in advance should I place my order?
I recommend placing orders at least 2–3 weeks in advance. Wedding and large event orders should be placed 4–8 weeks ahead. Availability is limited and popular dates book quickly.
Do you accept last-minute orders?
Sometimes, yes! If my schedule allows, I’m happy to accommodate. I recommend at least 7 days’ notice when possible, but shorter notice orders may still be doable with a rush fee. Feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to check availability!
How do I place an order?
Submit a request through our Custom Cake Order Form on the website. Once details are confirmed, an invoice will be sent to the email address provided to secure deposit & lock in your date.
Delivery & Pickup
Do you offer delivery?
Yes! I offer free delivery within 10 miles of Ballwin, MO 63021. Deliveries beyond this radius are available for a small additional fee based on distance.
Please note: Wedding cakes and multi-tier designs that require on-site setup may include an additional setup fee.
Can I pick up my order?
Pickup is available by appointment in Ballwin. I’ll share all the details ahead of time to make pickup quick and easy.
Do you have Saturday delivery availability?
I am closed on Saturdays until 3 PM, with delivery and pickup available after 3 PM only (with the exception of weddings & large multi-tier cakes).
For earlier Saturday events, I recommend booking for Friday delivery.
That said, we understand every event is unique and will always try to accommodate special timing requests when availability allows. Feel free to inquire—I’d be happy to check options for your date.
Order Payment & Policies
What is required to book my order?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your order. Orders are not confirmed until the deposit is received.
When is the final payment due?
The remaining balance is due 3 days prior to delivery (multi-tier cakes 7 days prior).
What forms of payment do you accept?
Electronic payments are accepted (details provided on your invoice).
What is your cancellation policy?
Due to the custom nature of our products and limited availability, all orders are subject to the following:
-
30+ days : Full refund.
-
14-29 days: 50% deposit refund.
-
Within 14 Days: Deposit is non-refundable.
Can I reschedule my order?
I understand that plans can change and we'll always do our best to reschedule when possible based on availability.
What if I need to make changes to my order?

Cart Rental Policies
Is there a minimum rental?
Yes, the minimum rental is $225 for up to 4 hours, +$20 for each additional hour. If you don’t need the cart for the full 4 hours, the base rate still applies and is not prorated.
Do you deliver and set up the cart?
Yes! Delivery and setup are included. I offer free delivery within 10 miles of Ballwin, MO (63021), with a small additional fee based on distance beyond that. Due to the nature of the cart, pickup is not available.
What is the $100 Booking & Security Deposit?
The $100 deposit secures your event date, with the remaining balance due 14 days prior to your event.
Once your event is complete, this deposit also acts as a refundable security deposit. It will be returned after the event, provided the dessert cart and all items are returned in good condition (normal wear excepted). Any damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning may result in deductions.
How should I care for the dessert cart?
Please handle the cart with care. To avoid damage, do not use nails, screws, strong tape, or anything that could scratch or alter the surface.
For decorating, we recommend gentle, non-damaging options such as:
-
Command strips or hooks
-
Ribbon, twine, or string
-
Clip-on or removable décor
Any damage caused by improper use may result in deductions from your security deposit.
Can the cart be moved during the event?
We recommend keeping the cart in its original setup location. If it does need to be moved, it should be done very carefully, as it is not one solid piece. We are not liable for any injury or damage resulting from misuse or mishandling of the cart.
What happens if the cart is damaged?
The security deposit may be partially or fully withheld if there are damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning required beyond normal use.
What happens if I go over my rental time?
A 20-minute grace period is included. After that, overtime may be applied at $20 per hour (prorated). Pick up time will be listed on your invoice.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand plans can change. All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

14–29 days before: 50% of the total rental fee is due
